Event Description

Get ready to lace up your boots and be part of an unforgettable journey at the 2026 Music City Ruck March on October 24th!

Music City Ruck is coming back to GEODIS Park—and this year, it’s shaping up to be our biggest, loudest, and most unforgettable ruck yet.

The new race course will be approximately 0.90 mile in length. We will ruck rain or shine.

This event is more than just a walk or ruck march; it's a powerful demonstration of patriotism, camaraderie, resilience, and community. Proudly underwritten by the Bob Woodruff Foundation, this event benefits Operation Stand Down Tennessee.

Gates & Registration Open: 7:00 AM
Ruck March: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Parking & Security

Parking will be available in Lots 10 and 11. Please see the attached parking map for directions.

All participants and guests will be required to go through security at Gate C upon entering GEODIS Park. Once you have cleared security, you will receive a white wristband featuring the Music City Ruck March logo. This wristband lets GEODIS Park staff know you have completed security screening, so please keep it on throughout the event.

Pack Weigh-In & Lap Cards

For participants competing in the weighted categories, packs must weigh a minimum of 20 pounds.

As you enter, volunteers will weigh your pack and record its starting weight on the back of your lap card.

A change for this year: We will no longer weigh packs after every lap! Instead, volunteers will punch your lap card as you complete each lap around the concourse. We will weigh your pack again at the end of the event to verify it still meets the 20-pound minimum.

Updated Ruck Route

If you have been following us on Instagram, you may have seen that we have extended this year's route! Each lap has increased from 0.75 miles to 0.9 miles, bringing us even closer to a full mile per lap!

We have attached the updated route map for you to review before the event.

Resource Fair & Spectator Area

Our Resource Fair will be available from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, featuring community organizations and resources. We encourage everyone to stop by and visit our participating partners!

Bringing family or friends to cheer you on? We will have a designated spectator seating area near the Resource Fair where they can sit, watch, and encourage participants throughout the event. Please see the attached map for the location highlighted in blue.
